Shalicia is the Founder of In Charge, Chair of Hamilton Hive, TEDx Speaker, and global entrepreneurial podcast host of Buzz Worthy with a corporate background in innovation, marketing, and project management. She is a problem solver who turned her own lack of financial literacy and poor financial services experience into a revolutionary start-up company In Charge. Now she is revolutionizing the financial services industry with her comprehensive framework called the 5 Key Pillars of Personal Finances. These key pillars empower individuals by putting them in charge while providing them with faster and better financial solutions through an easily accessible app. Shalicia’s goal is to modernize financial services while building trust, transparency, and knowledge for people with personalized financial literacy.

Madison has been a member of the Hamilton Hive since 2018 and has been on the Board of Directors since 2019. She has been working in Human Resources for over a decade in various sectors from non-profit to logistics and warehousing to retail and outdoor education. She is an alumni from both McMaster University as well as Mohawk College and has taken lifelong learning seriously with courses and certifications from organizations all over, and welcomes questions about them. She would love to share with you her passion for professional development and career planning as well as anything HR related. She is currently working as a Payroll Supervisor in the non-profit word in Hamilton, and would love to chat about the various ways you can leverage your expertise.

Aaron was born May 4, 1990, at what was Henderson Hospital in Hamilton. Having grown up trampling the Red Hill Valley to Albion and Buttermilk Falls and rip-roaring his bike around the trails, Aaron is proud to call Hamilton: Home. Representing Steel-City playing AAA Hockey with honest grit and passion transferred to learning as he entered Brock University’s Business Co-op Program. Since graduating, Aaron lead Innovation and Change throughout his family business, AIRON, by means of successfully starting, building, and commercializing (and later Exiting) an Operational Software: ANT Technologies, through various available Federal and Provincial Grant Programs. Since AIRON was acquired by industry titan BGIS, Aaron has shifted focus to Business Development within the Greater Golden Horseshoe. He has been part of HIVE in one way or another for nearly 10 years.
